This villain is sneaky and quite dangerous. It usually invades a person’s brain when they are presented with an idea that involves change or the least bit ofinconvenience, Nix sets off the “change alarm”. The alarm issues a series of idea extinguishers which are quickly deliv-ered to your mouth. Before you know it, you’re delivering amessage of defeat such as “Yeah but - it’ll never work” or“Yeah but - I’ll never make it”. This nasty villain hopes that you slowly rot as you find comfort in your unwillingness tochange or take risks.
SUPER HERO TIP FOR OVERCOMING THIS VILLAIN:
Resistance to change may seem like a safe course, but it will cause great opportunities to go around you, rather than act through you. Your perceived safety is an illusion. New ideas usually require change and that change requires action. To discover and experience anything greater than what you currently are, requires change. Avoid becoming one of those people that pride themselves in their reluctance to change - “You’re never gonna get me to change how I...” The cost of this rigidity is your own abundance and happiness. Instead of being the person who can always find something wrong withan idea, make yourself the person who can always find something good in another’s creativity. Then go on to be the person who has the courage to try to make an idea better.
